Company Policies Nalco Gunsmithing, LLC Nalco Gunsmithing Repair Policies Nalco Gunsmithing LLC makes an effort to keep the turn-around time reasonable. Many things affect turn-around time like the number of guns in line in front of you, or difficulty sourcing parts. Most jobs are handled on a first come first served basis. For most normal repairs turn-around time is about 2-4 weeks. If you need your gun back in less time than that please make you needs known when dropping it off – rush jobs can be arranged. My time is valuable at Nalco Gunsmithing LLC, time spent inspecting/working on your gun and looking up/ordering parts for you is time taken away from my family. My shop rate is $50/hr– that covers bench time, machine time, and misc shop supplies. The minimum charge for any work done is $40 of labor. 90% of all repair bills fall between $70-175. If you feel your gun is worth less than this, please be sure that you actually want it fixed before dropping it off. When dropping your repair off, please drop off complete gun including magazine, stock, etc. even if you feel they won’t be needed. For example, don’t just drop off a bolt to have a new firing pin spring installed – Nalco Gunsmithing LLC will not repair or order any parts until the complete firearm is in our possession. Too many things are beyond our control if we can’t see the whole picture. It is the customer’s responsibility to leave good contact information. Nalco Gunsmithing LLC will make an honest effort to contact customers with any information about needed or completed repairs. Nalco will make several attempts to contact the customer using whatever contact info the customer supplies at time of drop-off. If unsuccessful, it becomes the customer’s responsibility to contact Nalco Gunsmithing LLC. Guns left unclaimed 30 days with no contact will be charged a $35 storage fee. Guns left unclaimed 60 days become property of Nalco Gunsmithing LLC. Parts are only installed on an exchange basis. Please do not remove parts before dropping off your gun. These parts are used for repairs, restorations, etc. and are often useful to me. They are a component part of the prices of the work I perform. If you wish to keep the original parts, please let me know in advance, and I will make price adjustments accordingly (assuming no safety issues).
